| Body | ##Name## Skykit, our digital signage provider, is making a major change to their system. Driven in part by the changes taking place on the Google platform, Skykit is moving to an Android based platform. What does this mean to NEMEON Network and to our members who use it? Through a deal negotiated with Skykit, you will be supplied with a newer, smaller, and more robust Android unit to run your digital signage. This new unit will include a remote control, which will allow for easier trouble shooting on site, and should limit downtime caused by the most common problem, no connection to the internet. These units will be provided to you free of charge and will include a two-year warranty. As part of the agreement, and to facilitate moving away from Google, it is essential that the new units be installed promptly, and the old units are removed from use. Any old units still in the field will reset and stop working at the first of the year. Because NEMEON pays an annual license fee for each unit in the field on your behalf, it is important that the new units be connected prior to the end of the year and remain running at all times so that updates can be downloaded in a timely manner. Units that are enrolled, but not connected to our cloud service, cost the organization unnecessary expense. Your new units will be arriving via USPS very soon! You will be notfied by email when the units ship. If you would like them sent to the attention of a specific person please let me know in advance. Please watch for them and contact us with any questions or concerns about getting them up and running. By the way, were you thinking about adding additional locations to the Network? NOW IS THE TIME! Skykit has supplied us with a limited number of additional units which we can deploy for only the cost of a one-year license.
